WEST TAMPA TOBACCO CO. RED TORO (6 x 52)

WRAPPER: MEXICAN SAN ANDRÉS MADURO

BINDER: NICARAGUAN CONDEGA

FILLER: CONDEGA VISO, ESTELÍ VISO, ESTELÍ LIGERO

Red pulls smoothly, bringing earth, oak, and a nice bit of cocoa butter to the palate. The retrohale mimics the draw. Plentiful smoke output. The slightest tingle of spice on the finish along with cocoa butter and a touch of oak. Light creaminess hangs out.

Leather and coffee begin to meld together, both influencing one another equally and flowing through from draw to finish.

Red’s solid ash breaks cleanly off a rather nice burn line.

Creamy cashew butter begins to flow in and out. Good stuff. Creaminess builds, and dark chocolate begins to hang at the edges on the draw and finish. Oak softens and gains some sweetness. Leather kicks it up a notch or two on the finish.

Red has cleared my mind today, and I’m just enjoying the ride. Looking forward to hanging with it again.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 59 mins.

RATING: 3.25 / 4 - Enjoy the ride.
