APRIL 27, 2024 - PHIL KURUT, COMEDY - CIGARS - MUSIC

ROOM101 HIT & RUN REDUX ROBUSTO (5 x 50)

WRAPPER: MEXICAN SAN ANDRÉS

BINDER: ECUADORIAN SUMATRA

FILLER: NICARAGUA, USA (PENNSYLVANIA)

Dark, woody, and spicy provide Hit & Run’s first impression. That spice bites and lingers. Loads of smoke fill the shed. Perfect draw.

Dark earth and faint spice flow from the nose while coffee joins spice on the finish.

A touch of cream enters into the mix but not in feel nor texture. Solid ash holds on tight to a strong burn line.

Hit & Run starts to pull in dark and milk chocolate, followed by some rather tasty coffee. Nice. Chocolate covers the palate and hangs around on the finish. A pleasant bit of tea closer to the finish line.

Good smoke.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 32 mins.

RATING: 3.25 / 4 - A lingering bite.
