MACANUDO ESTATE RESERVE RELEASE NO. 3 CHURCHILL (7 x 52)

WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN CONNECTICUT SHADE

BINDER: CONNECTICUT BROADLEAF

FILLER: BRAZIL, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, NICARAGUA

No. 3 begins with mixed nuts (a few more cashews than the rest), cream, earth, and spice. Mixed nuts and earth on the retrohale. The finish jabs a quick dose of leather followed by a longer lasting helping of mixed nuts and spice.

A smooth and effortless draw produces a generous amount of smoke.

Bits of cherry start to make appearances on the draw and finish.

The burn works independently, and a solid ash hangs on tight.

I got up a little early to hit this review today. Coffee would’ve paired well with this.

Milk chocolate wanders in and out and hangs on the finish with leather to form a chocolatey leather. Not bad actually.

SMOKE TIME: 2 hrs. 4 mins.

RATING: 3.25 / 4 - Early morning.
