Azul’s several opening shots hit with earth and spice. Sweetness hides in the distant shadows.
The retrohale hands down earth, subtle dried fruit, and faint black pepper spice. Spice and earth hunker down on the finish.
Excellent draw and smoke output.
Azul burns well and produces a solid ash.
Every time I’ve heard the word “azul” since I was in high school Spanish class, I can’t help but think of Zuul from Ghosbusters. Those dogs were ugly. The movie is a classic.
Azul’s strong suit is consistency. Kind of like Egon.
