LA GLORIA CUBANA COROJO DE ORO TORO (6 x 50)
WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN HABANO
BINDER: COROJO DE ORO
FILLER: BRAZIL, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, NICARAGUA
My corncob nubber assists with a snug draw, and we’re moving. Spice, sweetness, and earth work in harmony. Not Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, just harmony. They were like a two-hit wonder, right? “Tha Crossroads” and “1st of tha Month” if memory serves me correctly.
Nice smoke output.
Earth and leather are the main players on the retrohale, with maple wood just at the edges. Leather, spice, wood (not maple), and fruit chill out on the finish. Ain’t no party like a midwest party.
I dig the band.
Oro begins to smooth and level out a bit shortly into the second third. Spice becomes a slight rumble, sweet oak takes the lead, a touch of fruit drops in, and earth continues to blend in seamlessly.
The burn never seeks any assistance from me.
Wood, spice, and Red Hots drift around the room. Red Hots start coming through on the draw as well. Nice.
A few splits begin to form near the cap, but we’re finishing up anyway. Timing is everything, or so I've been told.
SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 49 mins.
RATING: 3 / 4 - See you at the crossroads.
I like your reviews but each cigar review could benefit if you finished it off with a conclusion on what you liked, disliked, is it box worthy etc etc.
