HIGHCLERE CASTLE EDWARDIAN | CIGAR REVIEW

OCTOBER 16, 2022 - PHIL KURUT, COMEDY - CIGARS - MUSIC

HIGHCLERE CASTLE EDWARDIAN TORO (6 x 52)

WRAPPER: CONNECTICUT SHADE

BINDER: BRAZILIAN MATA FINA

FILLER: NICARAGUA

A honey-influenced earth, spice, and gentle cream drift from Edwardian’s first few draws, which are quite easy, I might add. Earth darkens up through the retrohale while honey and spice linger on the finish.

Edwardian subsequently offers leather, coffee, floral sweetness, and sour cream.

Honey, bread, earth, and leather flow off Edwardian’s resting foot. No athlete’s foot. John Madden hated athlete’s foot. “Tough actin’ Tinactin.” Anyone? Anyway.

Solid ash breaks away clean. The burn is left to its own devices without distracting me from my laziness.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 30 mins.

RATING: 3 / 4 - Could be one for John Madden.
