COHIBA RIVIERA ROBUSTO (5 x 52)

WRAPPER: MEXICAN SAN ANDRÉS

BINDER: HONDURAN CONNECTICUT

FILLER: HONDURAS, NICARAGUA

Riviera’s wide open draw brings wood, cocoa, spice, and a hint of maple syrup. Smoke begins to fill the room on the exhale. The drop in temperature outside has me smoking in the shed today.

Earth and stone fruit drop through the nose. That fruit has some dirt on it. Fresh off the ground without even rubbing it on my shirt first.

Lots of spice on the finish. Lots. Coffee seems to be hiding somewhere in there.

The ash flakes a little but doesn’t leave a mess.

Speaking of the ash, it hangs on well to a fairly straight burn line.

Riviera stays smooth, but darkens up a little bit, moving away from sweetness. Coffee and leather begin to take over. There’s some butter on the edges.

I think dropping some butter in your coffee is part of the keto diet. Not sure. Never tried it. By that, I mean I never tried the keto diet nor putting butter in my coffee.

A nice cigar without any hassles.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 20 mins.

RATING: 3.25 / 4 - Might be keto.
