CAO FASA NOCHE TORO (6 x 50)

WRAPPER: CONNECTICUT BROADLEAF

BINDER: CAMEROON

FILLER: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, NICARAGUA

Sweet tobacco, cocoa, and spice flow through a perfect draw. Cocoa swims in, out, and through the other two but never takes away from them. Cocoa and earth drop from the nostrils on the retrohale. Cocoa, sweet tobacco, spice, and light coffee linger on the finish. I have to push my tongue around my gums to get all of that, but they’re there.

Smoke would fill a room if I were inside; it even lingers for a while on the porch.

Light cream joins to soften any rough edges; not that there are any.

The foot smoke shows off an enjoyable balance of smooth leather, spice, and cocoa. Speaking of the foot smoke, it holds its own as far as filling a room goes. Nice.

Cola with a drop of cherry joins the draw, and coffee floats around the finish. Spice takes a backseat in both.

Noche’s burn gets by with a little help from my friends…smoke rolls™ and my lighter, as it required three fairly major burn touch-ups throughout.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 46 mins.

RATING: 3 / 4 - Gets by with a little help from my friends.
