ALEC BRADLEY FILTHY GHOOLIGAN TORO (6 x 50)

WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN HABANO, USA BROADLEAF

BINDER: INDONESIAN BESUKI

FILLER: NICARAGUA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Chocolate, oak, a modest coat of butter, and just enough spice to keep the palate alert bring the Filthy Ghooligan to life within the first few puffs. Draw and smoke output are excellent.

Sweet earth, oak, and a bit of chocolate flow through the nose. The finish holds on to a bit more spice, but not overwhelming or intrusive. Chocolate and oak find plenty of space to move around.

I detect some cherry hiding in the shadows near the half, adding a cherry cordial vibe every so often when everything melds together just right. No complaints. Spice has backed out for the most part.

After the half, I have to employ my lighter a few times to keep the burn moving along evenly, and the Ghooligan starts tapering off.

SMOKE TIME: 1 hr. 49 mins.

RATING: 3 / 4 - I’m sure there’s some witty Halloween comment I could have put here.
